Today, Congressman David Scott welcomed Senator Barack Obama to Powder Springs in Cobb County, which is in the 13th Congressional District.

Senator Obama held a rally at McEachern High School in Powder Springs. Senator Obama, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, spoke to an overflow crowd about the economy, healthcare, Iraq and other major issues.

"What a joy it is to have Senator Obama in our community," Congressman Scott said. "This is a historic occasion and I am glad to have been here with my constituents this morning."
