Barack Obama's victory is a historic and glorious achievement for Obama, America and the world. For it truly represents a change of soaring magnitude of not just racial pride, but America's pride. This is a great victory for both the meaning and the essence of America because Barack Obama is standing on the shoulders of Thomas Jefferson - "All men are created equal. . ." - and Martin Luther King, Jr. - "I have a dream that one day. . ." - and so many precious white and black people in between, who have sacrificed their lives so that America would have this extraordinary moment to truly be America.
